The assigned Divining Rod was to carry your sketchbook and take it out to record random objects or people. Last Wednesday we discussed  how drawing and taking photographs are quite different.

Drawing is more direct, more up close and personal. You are not in front of any kind of view finder no matter how unobtrusive. So whenever you are outside in nature or in a random waiting room pick up a pencil and do a quick sketch without any judgment.

We’ll see some of the quick draws on Wednesday morning for Week Five!
